A SOJAA Fibre Mill - 2006/01/30 11:58
Call this a wild idea. But it strikes me that America is a big place...Oregon is the same size as the UK to give you some idea.
So why not a series of small regional mills to process fibre and produce products that will sell locally? Rather than shipping this bulky stuff all over the place to get it processed.
Maybe SOJAA should change its not for profit status and buy a small fibre mill...which members can then send their fibre to. A real local fibre cooperative.
