Aragon - 2nd, 2007 AOBA Spin-off
Aragon is a handsome, sturdy young male with excellent bone, long staple length, great conformation and incredible libido for one so young! To top it off, the fiber in his solid blanket is beautiful, with great handle and very nice crimp. As proof, his fleece just won 2nd place at the 2007 AOBA Handcrafter's Spin-off!
His dam, Me Too, is a striking medium fawn female, with distinctive ears and incredibly long eyelashes. She has been an easy breeder and birther, with abundant milk, and her fleece won a 2nd-place ribbon at the 2002 EVA Alpaca Exhibition.
His sire, El Varon, is a spectacular herdsire out of Patagonia's El Padre. He has tight, deep crimp with density, long staple length, fineness and wonderful handle in a rich mahogany color. El Varon has been the shearer's favorite several years running. Along with his fabulous fiber attributes, El Varon has correct conformation and macho presence, which he has passed on to Aragon.
We are sure that Aragon will be a chip off the old block, but we need to decrease our herd and diversify bloodlines, so we are offering him for sale at the incredible price of $3,500. This young guy was orgling and "going through the motions" at 3 months old (and we have the picture to prove it)!
Aragon is also available for sale as a fiber male at significant savings.
