We now have 20 alpacas on the farm. We sold our best and are now back to herd building and fiber production. At Moon Dancing Alpacas we are committed to the success of the alpaca fiber industry and working to assure a profitable future for the alpaca fiber industry and the future fiber producer. We are dedicated to supporting the development of this industry to maturity.
We participate in our local fairs,Fourth grade farm day, Farm Bureau functions, Chamber of Commerece events. Moon Dancing Alpacas supports Fiber on the Foot an annual alpaca educational event held the first weekend in May in Red Bluff, CA and we support the the fiber industry via AFCNA and AlpacaMania's Fiber Arts Competition, It's A-FACT. We are founding members of the Tehama County Spinner's and Fiber Arts Group.
This has lead to the creation of HeartFelt Designs Gallerym a natural fiber yoar store, natural fiber fashion gallery and an elagant art gallery, in Red Bluff Ca. 530-527-5180.
At this time we have several breeding quality males, three proven and two are Jr. Herdsires for your consideration. You may choose sires that produce crias with fleece suitable for woolen or worsted textiles. Our blood lines came from Columbia River Island Alpacas,Pacific Crest Alpacas, Northwest Alpacas, Xanado Farms and Derwydd Alpacas.
Moon Dancing Alpacas is home to Commander, sired by Caligula and Hunter, sired by Felix. Our herd sires pass on three distinct fleece variations including a rare, bold, S crimp, sometimes refered to as "Silkys" and make the finest Worsted fabrics. We proudly offer you the beauty, bounty and the best our farm has to offer via breedings and the offspring of our geneticly, well placed herdsires. Welcome. |
